“We waited all year for our return visit to OMC and were not disappointed. We will really miss the peace and quiet. The children loved the rock pooling, fishing and surfing to name but a few. Two weeks was not long enough! Spotlessly clean too. Can't wait to return next year.”

“The moment we walked into the cottage we felt we had come home.
The huge, comfy sofas, wood burner and stunning decor create a warmth and homeliness rare in any holiday cottage. We opened the Rose that had been left in the fridge for us, sat on the terrace and soaked in the peace and tranquility of Lee, while anticipating the short walk to the pub for supper later in the evening.
Each bedroom is so beautifully decorated, each bed so luxuriously big and inviting, it was hard to decide which room to choose.
On our first morning we packed some bacon sandwiches and headed to the beach for breakfast. We paddled in the rock pools and chatted to a local fisherman before heading back to the cottage to plan our day, curled up on the sofa with a cup of tea, just enjoying the beauty of the cottage, the feeling of the day stretching out before us.
We sat at the dining table, the sun having set and a day on the beach putting colour on our cheeks. I looked through the quaint archway separating the dining area from the sitting room and imagined the logs piled high, the wood burner glowing and a Christmas tree in the corner. I couldn't think of a better place to spend Christmas.
Old Maid’s Cottage was the perfect retreat for our family holiday. The kitchen is so well equipped, every need has been anticipated; it oozes charm and history, yet it has every modern comfort.”
